Who is responsible for maintaining the heat network?

  • Updated

The Managing Agent is usually appointed by the Building Owner to oversee the day-to-day management of your development and arrange services on the building's behalf.

This typically includes appointing specialist contractors like maintenance providers to look after and repair the communal heat network and related equipment.

If you would like to know who your maintenance provider is, please contact your Managing Agent. You can confirm who your Managing Agent is by checking the first page of your Data Energy bill.

What this means for you:

  • Your Managing Agent appoints the companies who look after the heat network.
  • A maintenance provider is in place to manage the system and keep it running safely.
  • If you’re unsure who your maintenance provider is, your Managing Agent can confirm.
