What is a tariff?

  • Updated

A tariff is a charge assembled for a utility supply and is normally composed of both a unit charge and one or more fixed charge (i.e. standing charge and admin charge).

All apartments that make up one District Supply Scheme would have the same tariff unless there is a mix between credit and Pay-As-You-Go customers (as credit and PAYG data collection fees will differ slightly).

Please refer to the letter or tariff card issued to you when your rates were last changed for more details. You can also view the current applicable tariff via your Customer Portal account. If you haven’t created an account yet, please refer to How do I create a Customer Portal account? article.
