If another company has taken over metering and billing services for your development, your account with Data Energy will have been closed from the agreed handover date.
We’ll have written to you to confirm the change and provide your final bill.
What happens next?
I still owe money on my account
Once your account has been closed, payments can no longer be made to Data Energy.
If you have an outstanding balance, please contact your Managing Agent for details of how and where future payments should be made.
My account was in credit
If your account had a credit balance when it was closed, the credit will have been transferred to your Managing Agent.
To arrange a refund, please contact them directly.
What about my meter readings?
The closing meter reading used to produce your final bill will have been shared with your Managing Agent or new billing provider.
When you receive your first bill from the new provider, we recommend checking that the opening meter reading matches the closing reading shown on your final Data Energy bill.
Need more information?
If you’re unsure who is now responsible for your account, please contact your Managing Agent, who will be able to confirm the arrangements for your development.
