If you think your meter is faulty, recording incorrect readings, or you've lost heat or hot water, please contact your Managing Agent, Landlord or Housing Association first.
Although Data Energy isn't responsible for maintaining or repairing the metering equipment in your building, we can still help investigate metering and data collection issues.
Our Technical Team may be able to visit your property to inspect the meter and identify any faults. However, if repairs or replacement parts are needed, the Building Owner or Managing Agent will need to authorise the work before we can carry it out.
Depending on the arrangements in place for your building, we may also be able to arrange a meter inspection directly. Please note that a charge may apply for this service.
If the issue relates to other equipment, such as your HIU, you'll need to contact your Managing Agent, Landlord or Housing Association, as our metering technicians cannot diagnose faults with these systems.
