What should I do if I've lost my top-up card?

  • Updated

Don't worry, you can still top up easily and keep your supply running.

1. Top up online

Use the link for your meter type:

If you have an IKW3 meter and a Customer Portal account, you can set up handy alerts for:

  • low balance
  • supply paused at £0
  • successful top-ups

Not signed up yet? See How do I create a Customer Portal account?

2. Scan the QR code

If your meter has a QR code, scan it with your phone to jump straight to the payment page.

3. Pay in-store (without a card)

You can still top up at any PayPoint shop.
Don’t have a card? No problem - submit a support ticket and we’ll send you a digital barcode linked to your 19-digit PayPoint number.
Show it at any PayPoint outlet to make your payment.

4. Pay over the phone

Call 01279 810 119 (Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm) to pay by card.

5. Pay by bank transfer

To request the correct bank details for your development, please submit a support ticket.

Please note that Direct Debit is not available for PAYG accounts.

Need a replacement card?

We can send you a new physical card for £5.
Just call us or submit a ticket - it’ll arrive in 3–5 working days.

Tip:
Whilst you’re waiting for your new card, the quickest way to top up is online or via the QR code on your meter (if available).
