A late registration fee may be charged when a change of tenancy is reported more than 30 days after a resident has moved into or out of a property.
This fee is charged to the Leaseholder or letting agent to cover the additional admin required to update account records.
The fee must be paid before the account can be updated and the change of tenancy completed.
To help avoid delays or additional charges, changes of tenancy should be reported as soon as possible after a resident moves in or out.
