If your home is part of a district supply scheme, you usually won’t be able to switch to a different supplier.
This is because the energy supplied to your property is provided through a shared system serving the development. Your Building Owner or Freeholder is typically responsible for arranging this supply, and the details are usually set out in your lease agreement.
What does Data Energy do?
Data Energy is not your energy supplier. We act as the Metering and Billing Agent for your development, which means we:
- Collect meter readings
- Calculate how much energy you’ve used
- Send you your bills
- Manage payments
- Help you manage your account
We do this on behalf of your Building Owner, Freeholder or Heat Supplier.
