We use actual meter readings whenever possible. However, if we're unable to collect readings from your meter, your bill may be based on estimated readings instead.
There's no need to worry - estimates are calculated as accurately as possible using the information available to us.
How are estimated readings calculated?
In most cases, estimated readings are based on your property's previous consumption history.
If we don't have enough historical data for your property, we may use average consumption data from similar apartments within your development to calculate an estimate.
Check your meter reading history
You can view your meter reading history at any time through your Customer Portal account.
If you haven't registered yet, you'll find your login details on the bottom right-hand corner of your bill under the Customer Portal section.
Have you taken your own meter reading?
If you've taken a meter reading and it hasn't been used on your bill, please send it to us along with a clear photo of the meter.
Once we've checked the reading, we'll update your account and, where necessary, reissue your bill using the actual reading provided.
You can submit meter readings:
- Through your Customer Portal account
- By contacting our Customer Care team
How to avoid estimated bills
The best way to make sure your bills reflect your actual usage is to submit regular meter readings.
We recommend providing a reading on either the first or last day of each month wherever possible.
This helps us bill you more accurately and reduces the likelihood of estimated readings being used.
